I wouldn't bother, though it would of course be mighty cool to do this
through IrDa (if it would be possible, which isn't the case) but you
wouldn't want it anyway, not with that speed.
And since you have the money for the IrDa adapter I would spend it on one of
those cheap ethernet adapters, works with the iMac without a hitch and the
speed is awesome.
