Unless you're on AT&T and your StarTac supports TriMode operation. That
will allow you to use analog AMPS.
Not saying that your StarTac does support TriMode and it must for it to
work with the modem on AT&T, the 3COM 3CXM756 will also support StarTacs
with the correct cable.
