I have the same problem. I recently installed a Farallon 895 (thanks for
the helpful guidance, Victor). I can print over ethernet but I get this
error every time that I attempt to use NCU using Appletalk over ethernet .
My connection settings are as Avi suggests. NCU works fine using Appletalk
over Localtalk on the same Mac.
