Hi All,
Well it seems that I have sparked some interest when it comes to backlight
replacement!
I am waiting for some samples to be sent to me. They tell me that their
stock sheets can be cut to size with scissors, although a final version
would be die cut. The color is white. Other colors include blue, amber and
green (Ugh!).
I should be able to use the existing power supply, (with its' whine, sorry!)
but I will be looking at replacing that also for a more efficient one.
As far as doing this mod, I would not be comfortable doing this to YOUR
beloved machine, but I will be posting a detailed 'how to do it' with
pictures when I get the details ironed out.
This mod only applies to the MP2K as that is what I have. I am sure it can
be done on the other models but the size would be different.
