I doubt that 47 and 56 are compatiable cards. Remember that the Farallon
card and the 3Com 3c589XX series cards have the same hardware. Probably
only the 49 is, meaning that any card that was shipped with an "a"
extention in the model number won't work. Maybe. can people check their
cards?
