The RSS feed. Yum.

Since 2005, the list has had a publicly available RSS 2.0 feed. If all you want to do is pop in to see what’s going on, can use the RSS feed. The feed includes the subject line, plus the first 100 characters of the latest 25 messages posted to the list. Each feed item is linked to the full message as it appears in the list archive.
