It's definitely not possible, but when SETI at Home initially became a
pretty big craze (and I was at the bottom of the top 1%), I had
actually contacted them about a Newton port. To their credit, they
took my tongue-in-cheek requests seriously and responded on several
occasions professionally and inquisitively, but ultimately didn't feel
that the Newton was a platform to port to since the device wasn't
likely to yield substantial or timely results.  Probably for the best
as I'm certain I destroyed a number of harddrives with near-constant
data writes.
