It was spam from a list member's account.

Well explained, Dennis!

IIRC, the issue with my email address was a bit more of a mystery. I changed passwords several times, but still spam was being sent from the actual account. (Grant could see it was from me, not a spoof account). I wasn?t opening attachments or clicking on links...I have a fairly secure WiFi server (well, the Newton and WEP). The only solution was to discard that email account and create another...which I did. And, so far so good.

Forrest

Dang, how could they still send mail from that account if you changed
passwords? Sounds like it was either an inside job or some how they had
gained admin privileges at that ISP.

Sincerely,

Hi all,

I wanted to try some of the Easter eggs in the Newton, but some of them are only in the 2.0 (not 2.1) OS, so the later MessagePad 120 and the MP130. See here: http://www.mackido.com/EasterEggs/Newton.html

Does anyone have an extra 2.0 Newt they want to sell to me? I'm monitoring EBay but haven't found one for a reasonable price and not too far yet.

I was thinking of showing some of the visually interesting Easter eggs in my Newton film.

Noah
