Yeah, isn't that crazy? The chip alone is 5 Euros and has pretty much everything on board. I have to add level shifters for the CMOS internal port, and the MicroSD card slot. So in parts that would be maybe 12 Euros plus PCB plus having it soldered... .

They are great as well. And they have been around forever and really make USB EaZy.
