[NTLK] Suggested Laptop for Newton programming

Hello,

thank you all for your suggestions. I am pretty happy since I do have a
Pismo with 500 MHz PPC G3 CPU running OS 9.2.2. Actually I thought I
would need to go way back in time for appropriate hardware. But I am
happy it isn't so. I brought it back to life today. At first it would
not start at all. Not even the startup chime was sounding, but after a
bit of searching I found the backup battery cell dead. After I stripped
it, the system came back to life immediately - probably after being
stored away for at least two to three years now.

Now all I need is a USB/Serial converter ... And a way of downloading
data to the unit. A USB Stick might be the best bet ... Oh no, even
better. I can FTP into my Synology box easily using the Network Browser. :-)

Thank you all!

Best regards,

Sebastian
