If you could tell us a) what operating system you are running and b) what type of ports you have available on the machine, that might go a long way toward determining how simple or complex the process might be. :)

I don't know how often you update your computing gear, but having access to older computer hardware is of some benefit in this case.  I say this because the eMate makes use of a serial port:

...something which hasn't been seen on new computers for quite some time (though USB to serial adapters are available).  Not to mention the fact that present-day CPU's run at speeds that computing devices from the eMate's era (late 1990's) can find difficult to keep up with, which is why Vladislav Korotnev mentioned slowdown.exe earlier.

With any luck, the guides Mr. Korotnev linked to in his last post will help walk you through things.  If not, please post to the list with the information requested and one of the more knowledgeable people might be able to assist in taking you through the necessary steps.
