launchd was created by Apple, and they're not required to post their modifications to clang+llvm, but they do. Another decently sized project they've released is mDNSResponder, which while not used as much on the other *nixes in favor of Avahi, is still a major implementation. If you go down the list of items on that link, if it's only licensed under APSL, Apple probably open sourced it of their own volition.
