[NTLK] Mail V won't disconnect

Paul:

I've had the same thing happen. IIRC, the way I got around it was to open Mail V's "Mail Assistant" and delete setups, then recreate them.

It's happened a few times for me...but that's worked each time. I've even gone so far as to delete Mail V and reinstall it, but there seems to be no way to prevent the corruption of the user setup files from reoccurring, it seems to be a random event.

I will caution you that I am using a POP3 setup and not an IMAP one like Mobile Me...but I don't know that it makes all the much difference, if any.

Thanks,

After sending or retrieving from my MobileMe account, I get a dialog box "Disconnecting MobileMe" which never closes. if I click the "x", the dialog box disappears and the blinking star appears at the top of the Screen. Tapping the star displays "Mail V" which causes the original dialog box to reappear. To disconnect from the internet, I have to power off the MP. A reset is required to reconnect.
