When I was working, I had to use a Windows platform. We started with
Windows for Workgroups 3.11, then Win95 and WinNT, followed by Win2000,
and eventually WinXP. By virtue of being the ONLY computer literate
person available, by default I had to maintain these computers. It was a
pain! As the saying goes, "At work I HAVE to use a PC, at home I GET to
use a Mac!"
I'll admit that I'm not the most knowledgeable computer person since
I've only been using them for 25 years (since 1984) but I vastly prefer
Mac over Windows, just as I would prefer Windows over DOS.
