I'm on it like death on a wounded Puma! Or is that: Like a hen on a June
bug?
Apologies for parochial questioning. You see, I just can't bear to throw
things away. The parts presented themselves and the combination just SEEMED
to work. :)

I've used the Belkin F5U103 usb serial adapter with my Dell latitude running
Win98 with no issues!
