I wanted to ask: is there any performance advantage to be had with owning a DVT unit over a stock MP2000?

From what I can gather, a purchaser could actually end up with an inferior machine, seeing as how some of these units purportedly have 20-25MHz ARM chips installed. Meaning that the only real point to owning one of these units is the purely historical interest it holds vs. any tangible benefit to be derived from it (i.e. these development units can do things that a stock unit cannot).

Am I reading this right? Or do these development units allow you to do astonishing things like, say, plug a Jaminator cartridge into them? :)

Best,

James Fraser
