GMX.com works great with the newton. And it is free.
That is what I use. After you create your account

on the web at gmx.com use the following

settings in mailv:
INCOMING:
mail server: imap.gmx.com
authentication: Password
username: youraccount@gmx.com
pasword: yourpassword

OUTGOING:
smtp server: mail.gmx.com
authentication: Password
username: youraccount@gmx.com
password: yourpassword

I previously emailed how you can have gmx check gmail
and check it with the newton through its mail collector.
It will also do yahoo, hotmail(what I use), aol and others.
