It looks like there are many serial & Bluetooth ODB-II interfaces out
there, so all one would need to do is write the Newton software. It
appears that there are some open source projects such as
<http://www.opendiag.org/> (and I'm sure there are others), so one
would probably want to start there to figure out the serial protocol.
