[NTLK] Dead MP120?

 Hello,
It seems that my little green friend - a MP120 with OS 1.3 - is refusing to
work. It won't turn on, regardless of the batteries and power adapter being
used. I have tried to reset many times, but it didn't work.
What could it be?

My Newton has been with me since September, and it has become a very useful
tool. Also, I would not prefer a memory reformat, because NCK does not keep
abackup of everything (I have some other packages and data, most notably
Notion)

Any help would be appreciated.
