Hello Everyone,
Some good news and some bad news regarding the dock. Thus far I have the working prototype all tested and in terms of connectivity everything is working fine except for the USB functionality!
I have audio in and out working as well as powering the Newton and the serial connectivity however for some reason I am having a problem with the FTDI chipset. I am wondering if there is anyone on the list knowledgeable about this type of connectivity that could work with me to finish off the development so I can get this out. Its been a project I have been working on and off for almost a year.
If anyone is interested in providing some help, I would appreciate it. Im not familiar enough with this chipset to figure out what is wrong, as it seems to all match up from my perspective.
