The reason (and the only reason) I don't typically mention the HPs is
that there were always two models--one with PostScript, and
Mac-compatible, and one with PCL, and not Mac-compat. I'm always
worried that someone will accidently buy the wrong one and blame me.
:-) Typically, the 4 and 5 series, were labeled 4MP or 5MP, but sadly,
often, sellers don't know which they have (typically, PC-owners).

I believe that functionally, the HP and LW series were
identical--using the same Canon engines, and even paper path
mechanisms. I know that I could buy the same rollers for the HP for my
LW.
