Hello Gang,

Well, I give up, tried to fix it but no go, so I'm going to offer
this here for someone in the group for a nominal cost.

I have an eMate 300 that is in beautiful condition, complete with AC
Adapter and battery pack that holds a charge of about 2 hours. All
parts are intact and in great shape.
The eMate exhibits one significant problem - it has lost its touch-
screen input capability - I fear it is the dreaded worn-out hinge that
punctures the video cable just so to lose this element - as a monitor
screen it works fine, and does respond to keyboard input. The
backlight does not come on, but I think that's probably because it got
unplugged during re-assembly.
Otherwise it's in fabulous shape. I am asking $10 plus shipping from
46807 (Ft. Wayne, IN) for the unit, which has a bevy of great parts in
it (esp. the batteries). eMate itself (ROM card, no additional RAM),
stylus, and power adapter included, sold as is.
Thank you for reading,
Best regards,
Dana
