Before you give up, make sure you are using RSS feeds that actually
work with Raissa. Keep in mind, Eckhart has not had the time to update
Raissa in a while (and anyone with the knowledge could jump in and
update the source as it is a sourceforge project), so it does not work
with many newer feeds.

FWIW, I use Raissa on my eMate all the time. Here are a sample of the
feeds I use:

        Boingboing.net: http://feeds.boingboing.net/boingboing/iBag
        NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/HomePage.xml
        NPR news: http://www.npr.org/rss/rss.php?id=1001

Referring to the Raissa web page, "It should read RSS 0.91 and 1.0
sources but is currently not namespace aware."
