I use a local free net account. It gives me a dial up portal if I need and
supports the basic port 25 smtp. It requires a password for the smtp but no
SSL for smtp or pop. very nice for a Newton. You might look around your area
for a free net or library or some other small local group.

We have Comcast at my home in Indiana. Out in San Diego it's Time
Warner... Road Runner territory. Anyone have any experience with them? Do
they support this port 587 / port 25?
