[NTLK] Ladle progress

Someone the other day asked me how I was coming on my Windows XP sync
utility Ladle. Well not too well. First I had to build a new computer when
my old motherboard fried. I had to reinstall most of my apps but fortunately
all of my data on my hard drive was saved. Work has been very demanding plus
a couple of trips I had to take. So I'm way behind in my project. But on a
brighter side, I have a utility I built while I was poking around in the
"innards" of my Newton. It uses the DIL dll's and will dump the contents of
a Newton to a csv file and an Access 2000 database. It dumps Names, Dates,
To-do's, Calls, Notes, Thorsten Lange's AddressAccess, Iambic's Action Names
and Iambic's Time Recorder. It only works with TCP/IP do to a problem in the
DIL dll. And that is why I abandoned it for my current methodology. To hook
it up get the DockTrnspTCIP.pkg by Thomas Tempelmann. Updates of the
DockTrnspTCIP.pkg should always be available here:
http://www.tempel.org/newton/ or on UNNA. If you can not find the pkg drop
me a line and I'll email you a copy. Then fire up the exe on your PC and
setup the TCPIP dock to connect to the same IP and port as the PC. After
that you should be in business. You will find Newton Dump on my web site:
