How would this coating compare with that of a Newton 130 or 2100. I have never held a 110 was it similiar to the original MessagePad?

Subject: [NTLK] Newton 110 parts

Hey, I have my original Newton 110 which I first recorded the
E-mail address for the lady that became my wife. We've been married 8
years, but a total of 10 years. ;) (whistles...)

At our wedding I used a Newton 2000 to keep time up till the
point I went on stage. So my PDA kept me company and calm. (my best
man was taking care of other things) And I had the 110 displayed on a
pedestal with the note where I she said "That is so cool" and I said
"Hey, why not try it out by typing your E-mail address on the onscreen
keyboard." ;P

Anyway, the Newton 110 took some battery damage, but still
works. Will the case parts for a Newton 120 fit on the 110?

One thing I remember was that the 110 had a rubber coating where
the 120 didn't. Aside from that the parts look fairly close. Comments?

(It amazes me how little Newton stuff is on Ebay at the moment!)
