You always have the most expensively-priced Newton components.
If you sold replacement eMate ribbon cables at a flat price all the time of $9.99 - 19.99, that would be viewed as fairly and competitvely priced. Instead, you sell them at a price comparable to what many folks pay for an entire eMate.

Look at what you charge for flash memory cards. Or MessagePads. You are not competitively priced. You're not interested in offering anybody a deal or in helping members of the Newton Community -- you just want to gouge as much profit as possible out of each sale.

You always seem to have a thinly-veiled self-interest, even when you pretend to do something out of kindness for the Newton Community. Have you ever donated to any charitable Newton cause? Maybe helped a school teacher with their eMate servicing? Or loaned/donated hardware to assist a developer to continue in their research and support of our platform? Done anything that was not designed to put more dollars into your own pocket? The answer is no. Your business economy is entirely an extractive one.

I think it's just your nature to be unscrupulous and self-motivated, and you probably can't help yourself.

These are some of the reasons why I don't recommend you or your site to anybody. Change the way you operate, and eventually people may come to accept you as worthy of their trust and friendship. Good luck.

Matt K.
