Hmm with regard to the selected items. This is the way it works in most
Newton applications and it is handy when you are trying to select a
bunch of items at a time to delete. Many other apps do have a
select/deselect all button and it is partially for this reason. One way
around this if you have been selecting items and not sure if previous
ones are selected or not, tap on one item to bring it up, close the app
then reopen it. You will be at the item you taped on and can go back
into overview mode to select a few items to delete. Of course if you
have a select all button this would be better.
