I have to comment that this posting does not make any sense to me.
 
 
Yes, the HP 340 DeskJet printer works fine with a Newton 2X00 (and yes,
performance is delayed a bit when using with the IrDA adaptor).
 
 
While this printer allows for fairly easy connectivity with a Newton, it is a
downright primitive choice for computers using OSX. Let's see... You are
using a fairly current Apple OS on your computer -- and you want to send docs to a
printer that was manufactured some 10-15 years ago? Think about it...
