Seems like he suggested that the same hardware with os9 and NCU had
no issues? I don't think the Mac version of NCU has displayed the
kind of major timing issues the PC version has (ie slowdown ).

Don't know about your question, but it does seem like it has always
been an issue to transfer very large items serially regardless of
configuration?
