What I've been doing is imaging the floppies of old software and saving them to CDROM. I've got a 2300c with an external (fanless/dustless) drive. It makes high quality disk images. Let's just say history will prove the CD Drive will last longer than the Floppy Drive. If you would like, I can take those off your hands and archive them.
