Re: [NTLK] Geeksafe revisited

I use GeekSafe and have been for years. I can only think of 3 things that would make GeekSafe an even better application.
  1) The Export to Notepad is invaluable for a hard copy backup...but what if I need to import that back into GeekSafe after a catastrophic failure? An import feature would be nice.
  2) Another application I use extensivly is PassGenR. Written by Stephanie Mak at my request, this program saved my butt many-a-time. I would like to see a similar feature where GeekSafe can create a password within the application...but this is not critical since I use PassGenR and it is more than efficient.
  3) This is the one that is the most critical for me. I got quite spoiled with Action Names where I can link individual notes, tasks or calls to an entry in the address book. Alot of things in my address book have security related items (bank address with a PIN for ATM access) I would like to have this linked so that I can instantly access GeekSafe from within my addressbook just by selecting the action icon.

That's it for me...and yeah, encryption is a nice thing to have, but I really doubt that if I left my Newt on my desk, anyone walking by would not know the first thing on how to retreive any data from it that they could use...There just aren't that many people familiar with the Newt's way of doing things...too many Windows CE devices clouding up people's ideas on how to be efficient!

Since no one has come forward with any ideas, I'll simply point
out what my initial impressions were when reading this message.

It doesn't need anything. It's a great program doing a single job
well. Adding features would likely serve only to overcomplicate
what should at least appear to be a very simple program. Of course,
for a program such as this the integrity of the stored data is of
paramount importance which leads me to suggest that if it ain't
broke, don't fix it.
