Dock, slip, ppp, remote keyboard via dock, talk to PT100 ... yeah,
whatever you used to be able to do with a dongle or dongle destroyer
connected to a PC, Mac, Linux box, CE box. Baud rates are the same
since the programs are the limiting factor, followed by the Newton itself.

What would you actually like it to do?

Talk to a thumb drive or some other kind of USB disk drive? (possible
but experimental at best for now, perhaps could use the ATA drivers
but other stuff would be necessary to have the ATA drivers find the
drive on the serial port)

Talk to printers, scanners, cameras? (conversation would be too
specific to a particular device. would have to know a lot about the
target system and the Newton's communications systems in a system
with very little documentation of the internals)
