Hello,

good news and bad news.

The good ones are that i have recently, silently updated the product
NewtUSB.

I refer to the updated unit as 'NewtUSB Pro'.

It's now built on a different chipset which gives new capabilities to
Mac users.

On standard NewtUSB happened that when drivers for OSX were installed,
the unit couldn't be recognized on Classic (OS9) environment.
NewtUSB Pro solves this problem, and can be used contemporary on both
systems.

Newten on Mac OSX will still recognize the device as 'NewtUSB'.

NCU will recognize NewtUSB Pro as 'PL2303', instead of
'USBHighSpeedSerialConverter'.

NewtUSB and NewtUSB Pro are physically equal and an unique hestetical
difference
is noticeable on its packaging, where is reported a different address
for drivers download:

The bad news: NewtUSB and NewtUSB Pro are out of sale.

Many thanks for your interest.

Adriano
