[NTLK] Newton IM help

Thanks to Wesley Frazier's post I decided to dwonload and install the
Newton IM.

Here are a few questions

After tapping the light bulb icon:
Away - slef explanatory
XA - what is this?
DND - what is this?

What is the 'newton' resource?

Is the compatible with talk.google.com? I get this error 208258332.
Well this pre beta software so it's not that unusual but I noticed I  
was running PreBeta version 1.0.0
Got 1.2 http://www.allaboutjake.com/newton/NIM.pkg but that didn't  
appear to help.
Would absolutely love to use this as a Jabber client on my Newton  
with googletalk.

I visited the site and the development of this little app is quite  
interesting in how it went from the developer acquainting himself  
with NewtonScript to  what it does presently.

Still no joy

mentioned www.netmindz.net so I went to take a look and set up an  
account.

As of my visit to Netmindz, "The server now has 951 users" Wow!
This next bit is cool!
"Don't forget that you can also recieve emails as instant messages in  
jabber by sending emails to yourJID@jabber.netmindz.net"
Nice you can email right to jabber, presumably with NewtonIM. That  
would be nice!
Well the Newton Wiki recommends to create an account but I don't know  
how.
Any tips?
