It might still be in good enough condition to superglue back into
position if it broke off cleanly.

Put the post in a vice with soft jaws or grip it in pliers protected
by card and remove the screw then see if you can fit it back. A tiny
dab of grease on the threads of the screw will ease it back after so
as not to put too much stress on the refitted post.

Hopefully the leg of the spring that popped out was too short to do
any damage.

Obviously, lack of lubrication has caused it to be drawn out so it
will need cleaning and lubrication before being reassembled.

Don't worry, this is all part of what happens when you take old
equipment apart, so it will be all the more satisfying when when you
have it in one piece again and working well.
