Hi,
The other cause of cards not inserting properly is over tightening of
the rear case screw nearest the PCMCIA slots.

If your MP2x00 has ever been apart test PCMCIA card insertion
straight after reassembly. If one or other of the slots refuses to
allow full insertion back off the appropriate rear case screw a
quarter turn and try again.

Has worked every time for me but then people have always said I tend
to be a bit heavy handed when armed with any screwing device;-)
