I suppose something like that. I have tried a DHCP setting, which
tells me to reinstall the driver.

I also created another account using the manual setup method, and
have entered a primary and a secondary DNS address. I'm not sure what
to enter for a router gateway, where do I find that?

I have two static DNS addresses, one that my ISP gave me to use with
dialup (works with dialup) and the other that I used setting up my
wireless router.
