I still don't understand why everyone's getting so hung up on "hidden"
costs. Is not the buyer able to view these "fees" [perhaps not, in
which case then I apologize, it's been a while now since I've bought on
eBay and I forget] prior to committing to a purchase?

The *labeling* of costs or expenses is *irrelevant* to the Net Total
Cost which is simply a "number". You can call inflows and outflow of
funds *anything* you wish and it does *not* change the math.

For example, some people [including myself, LOL] delight in deluding
themselves that driving all over kingdom come to "shop" may be cost
effective. What we so easily dismiss is the "cost" of the vehicle
expense and the "cost" of our time in this equation. In the end it may
be more cost effective to NOT shop around, but to act wisely.

Oh well <g>, we all have our ways and that's fine. peace, John
