In addition to the military-style belt-bag (fanny-pack) I mentioned a couple months back, I also use the old (pre-2x00?) leather case with the brass rings in the back, hung from a camera strap clipped to the brass rings. I orient the 2x00 screen landscape with the card-slots at the top, so that when I grab the unit it is OK for quick use while the strap is hooked over my left shoulder (or my right shoulder with the strap across my torso and the unit still hanging on my left side).
