Have a look at Frank Gruendel's site

Stop when you have the Mother board out and replace with 2100 board
based on the description of other things you have done it shouldn't
be too difficult. But be very careful to work in a space where small
parts don't disappear, and pay careful attention to how the wires are
routed over the board.
