I think you need nSync 0.3.3 - available at Nowhereman's site:

The sourceforge page has the old version that was originally written
by John @ everchanging. Nowhereman, who wrote the TextSync plugin, did
some updates to the source to make his plugins work better.
Not sure if that will do it, but it's worth a shot.
