That's very interesting. Where'd you hear the rumor?
There's nary a whisper on any reputable site that I've been able to
find.
Without more info, I'd be inclined to take it with a grain of salt.
There have been "Apple is being acquired by....." rumors forever. I
remember Wired ran an op-ed piece in 2003 about how Sony "ought to"
acquire Apple. In less than 24 hours, the Web was full of rumors of
the Sony/Apple acquisition. Some sites posted it as a real done deal.
