[NTLK] Weird swap proposal

Hi all:

Pardon for this semi-OT posting. Recently got a Palm Vx tailor-made for the Japanese market whose battery does not carry a charge anymore. Am willing to swap three mint-condition eMate styluses (or styli, as the case may be), in their original packaging for a new Palm Vx battery.

I could simply buy it in the US if I were still staying there but I am not, at the moment. Various anti-money laundering regulations of the Philippine central bank have made it very expensive for me to send greenbacks abroad. Although I have a credit card, US-based sellers charge an arm and a leg for CC fees, rendering the transaction not very cost-effective. Meanwhile, although I have money in PayPal, the firm has decided to suspend my spending privileges - even though I already have money in my account - since I am already outside the US. Or so they say. Long story.

Thanks for reading and apologies for being chatty.

Please reply offlist. Willing to send pics with newspaper dates to prove the these mint items still exist.

Still an avid eMate user,

Robert in Manila
