Re: [NTLK] Native installer for NCU and OS X Update

I've also found Escale to be pretty unreliable. The primary use here
was to install new packages, and it would hang and disconnect
intermittently. Taking some great advice from this list, I started
putting the package files on my webserver, and installing them with the
Nethopper Package Loader. So far it's been simple and seems to
transfer files more quickly. The only hitch I ran into early on was
that the mime type for .pkg files needed to be changed in the servers
config so that they would be recognized by the Loader. There are other
FTP solutions for the newt, but I haven't found the need to look into
them yet. Anyone have any recommendations?
