Did you hit pause as Adriano recommended?

Did you hit pause as Adriano recommended? (is there an echo? ;-)

Same here, no init strings, a different receiver...still curious...

My Polstar also transmits every 1 second. My Newton 120 runs pretty
slow and doesn't always use 'every' piece data coming down the serial
port 'every' second (I'm assuming, of course). The fact is, there is
about a 5 second delay between screen updates, while tracking (live)
and using my S. Lake Tahoe street map, which (BTW) is 2134x3314 pixels!

So I still find this whole 'too-many-sentences' thing curious.

What would you need? I have a TON of extra computer equipment I
wouldn't mind (at all) getting rid of, if it would help.

No...see above.

According to the PDF spec sheet:
Sony GPS chip CXD2951 supporting NMEA0183 v2.2 data protocol
Series TTL and RS-232 I/O 4.8K (optional 9.6K)
NMEA 0183: GGA, GSV, GSA, RMS, (optional VTG,GLL)

120mW typical (tracking)

I'm sure a solution is only a matter of time.

P.S. For you DJ, I've attached copies of the PGM-111 PDF w/pin-outs. If
my cable will help you, I wouldn't mine loaning mine out.
