It's a shame it's FW 800. I only have 400 on my Pismo. :-(

        Ah, first I have heard of different speeds on Firewire. Will
most higher speed firewire work at lesser speeds?

Friends reports that firewire 800 go pretty faster than 400,
but i do not have fw800, so i am gonna buy a couple of adapters
which will convert from 9pin firewire (firewire 800) to 6pin (firewire
400).
