Hi Alex,
You'll be trying for a very long time:)

To do an AFP connection over TCP/IP (AFP = Apple File Protocol)
you'll need the following minimum software versions.

Mac OS 7.6 (7.6.1 is better)
OpenTransport 1.1.2 (1.1 is included with 7.6.1 and an updater is
still available from Apple)
Appleshare Client 3.7.4 (any later version up to 3.8.4 will also
work) this is also downloadable from Apple

Anything earlier and the system will try to do an Appletalk only
connection by default. Tiger won't like that:)

The above versions will cause a default AFP over TCP/IP connection to
be attempted and File Sharing on Tiger will accept this as okay:)

Hope this helps

regards
Andrew
