Dear List,
I'm right now trying to get a Airport Base Station (Graphite) up an
running for use with my Newt as a dedicated AP.
I understand that these come with a WaveLAN Silver pre-installed. Does
anyone here know if a WaveLAN Gold or a Re-branded WaveLAN Gold (ex.
COMPAQ, HP IBM, Dell,...) will work in the Airport Base Station? I
have tried a COMPAQ version of the Gold with no success. The card
works in the Newt though. I'd consider trading my Re-Branded Gold for
a WaveLAN Silver if anyone is interested. I don't use the high
encryption so it's no loss to me and I have three of them anyways...
