The main problem here is to try and track down the Schematics for
Frank or anyone able to troubleshoot the NotePhone issue.
Other than that someone with the electronics know how can try to trace
out the wiring in regards to where the connections go to the item that
handles the signal and routes it to the speaker when it detects a
ring... this item is the one with the issue which should be
fix/replaced or smashed!!!!
I will try to inquire if anyone here on campus in the TelCom dept is
willing to take a look at it... it maybe an interesting troubleshoot
for them if they decide to try their hand at it... if not we're in
limbo unless someone can figure this out.... well Frank it's back in
your court for now...
My NotePhone is relegated to the table as a fixture versus a
functional piece of history.
